In 2007, Emilia and Simona opened ö Magazín Gelateria, a few steps from ö Magazín Ristörante, along the famous Calata Marconi.
ö Magazín Gelateria celebrates the tradition of Ligurian gelato: this is where the story of pinolata and panera begins, the typical flavors made from pine nuts and coffee, and the coppa paciugo, a delicious “mess,” as the name suggests in the Ligurian dialect, which combines cream and strawberry gelato, fresh strawberries, whipped cream, sour cherries, and grenadine syrup. The shop quickly becomes the seaside meeting point, not only for lovers of overflowing cups and walk-away cones but also for breakfasts, light and tasty lunches, and aperitifs, with a privileged view of the bay of Portofino.
