Where once the family boats went to find rest, ö Magazín was born: a restaurant turned brand, created from the desire of Emilia and Simona Mussini to share their boundless love for their land and their sea, with hospitality and openness toward the future. A story of passion and female entrepreneurship that began over 30 years ago, with the crystal-clear sea of Portofino framing a dream that became a reality with the opening of four culinary landmarks along the Riviera di Levante, under the ö Magazín brand.
Savor raw dishes and seafood specialties directly on Calata Marconi, just steps away from the welcoming waves of the Ligurian Sea, in the iconic setting of Portofino. Ö Magazín Ristörante is a culinary experience that leads guests to discover the flavors and aromas of Liguria, where the sea is the main protagonist.
Portofino is synonymous with Ligurian gelato: this is where the story of the paciugo cup and the pinolata and panera flavors begins. To celebrate this tradition, Emilia and Simona created ö Magazín Gelateria right next to ö Magazín Ristörante, a seaside gathering place for lovers of overflowing cups and walkaway cones, as well as for breakfasts, light lunches, and delightful aperitifs, with a privileged view of the Bay of Portofino.
Among the narrow streets of Santa Margherita Ligure, in a bourgeois house from past generations, a journey through time with ö Magazín’s signature dishes and Genoese traditional recipes. ö Magazín Österia is the reference point for Genoese cuisine: a unique menu that celebrates local dishes andingredients within a historic building adorned with painted vaults, where the scent of lavender and sea still lingers in the air.
Protected by the breakwaters of the renovated Porto Carlo Riva and overlooking the blue of the Levantine Sea, ö Magazín Al Pörto is born, the new “flagship” of the group created by Emilia and Simona Mussini, continuing the family tradition with Emilia’s son, Antonio. Al Pörto brings together the ö Magazín experiences in a single exceptional location, plus the new addition of the American bar.
